Therapists like to work slowly when they are dealing with a client is going through this. The fact that it is practical is most helpful. It takes more than simply a little talk therapy. Goals are important because you can look back on your progress and your improvements. This will help you to stay motivated, and it is obviously encouraging. It is important to remember that it the client who needs to put in the effort and not simply to rely on the therapist. They are there to guide you through the process, but you have to put in the hard yards.
