The skylines of many iconic cities will abound in big buildings or skyscrapers. These when older will be made in eras which saw cities like these filling up with high rise buildings, and these days some problems are relatable. These may have things that are connected to use of metals, which the designers or builders know have some factors for damage.

Places or structures which use metals may have these as the primary items that are used, and there are so many of these to mention. This is a process that could use simpler things like sparing surfaces with rust proofing. But there are also complex jobs that might have several phases ranging from cleaning, to repaints and resurfacing.

But the skyline may be rusting too much and needs its building to have things like cleaning or maintenance no matter if they are too famous. These are related closely and have to be addressed at the same time.
