You Do Not Have To Kill When Performing Rodent Removal GA

By Betty King

There are many people who would say that our Earth is in its last phase, and in no small part due to the activities of human beings. These are the days when many of us are beginning to prepare for civil unrest, war, starvation, and other such global catastrophe. Even so, something as small as performing PETA-approved rodent removal GA can make a difference in this catastrophe human beings are creating.

For the past two or three hundred years we have decimated our animal kin to the verge of destruction, and every country is guilty. When we fail to teach our children to appreciate animals in their own environment, then this is where we begin to make our mistakes. This notion of superiority over the animal kingdom is precisely why many species of snakes and rats are going extinct today.

It has somehow become the impression of a good many people that rats, mice, snakes, and other creepy creatures are not considered wildlife. This is a terrible misunderstanding about life, and in fact many species of snakes are on the verge of extinction due to this particular perspective. It is imperative that all humans learn to handle nature with a gentle hand and leave the knife or gun at home.

Many of us want to try and handle a situation such as this on our own, and often times we do so with success. There are a number of painless methods which do not end in injury or death that can be used when attempting to dispose of vermin. Simply utilizing a sticky trap is an excellent way to begin showing a little more respect for Mother Nature.

Rats and mice that come into our houses only do so because we have holes in the walls, floors, and ceilings. With our tendency to kill everything that stands in our way, some of us seem to completely miss the fact that getting a house cat or small dog could have prevented the infestation from ever starting. Additionally, there are non-toxic recipes that can be spread around a domicile which these furry little darlings simply do not care to eat.

When rats and mice are found in a building, the entire place must be combed through in detail. Rodents chew holes through wood rather quickly, so in order to keep the problem from getting worse, one will have to nail something up over any holes they find. Preventing them from having a ready source of nutrition is also an important step, and this includes making sure that there are not dead rats or mice hidden away since they do eat their own dead.

Catch and release traps are not expensive. And one might even be able to find them at a flea market. Be very cautious when dealing with these animals, as they can inflict an extremely serious bite full of potential disease. Once they have been relocated, you will have to remain vigilant, as some rodents are quite capable of finding their way back home, even when the distance is ten miles or so.

It is also necessary to point out that these creatures are not always docile, and they do sometimes put up a good fight when caught. It may be in the best interests of everyone involved to hire a professional should handling the little darlings be necessary. Just take heed to Mother Nature while you make these choices, and try to avoid killing innocent creatures simply because they are unnerving.
